INS Designates Ports of Entry for Special Registration Departures

INS published a Notice in today's (Sept. 30, 2002) Federal Register which designates the Ports of Entry (POE) where each nonimmigrant who is subject to the Special Registration Requirements must report to the INS prior to his/her departure from the United States.

Effective October 1, 2002, any nonimmigrant who is subject to the Special Registration requirements must NOT depart from a Port of Entry of his/her choosing, but MUST only depart the U.S. from one of the POEs listed below.

POEs Designated for Final Registration and Departure by Nonimmigrant Aliens Subject to Special Registration

The following POEs are specifically designated for final registration and departure by nonimmigrant aliens subject to special registration:
